Hale's Third album was release last April 28, 2008, and for some reason I dont know why I did not hear anything from this album until one of my friend from www.imeem.com forward a song to me, which is Sandali Na lang. In my own opinion I think this third Album did not get more attention or should I say the publicity was not enough, Its been a year and this is the first time that I heard that they have launched a third album.

due to low publicity and economic crisis the third album Above, Over and Beyond had low number of sales since last year. currently the third single Sandali Na Lang are now playing in all radio stations and currently getting good ratings, to all Hale fans out there lets all support Hale and put them back on top.

He was referring to slow sales of “Above, Over and Beyond” in 2008 due to troubles affecting their label, EMI. Parent EMI International had shut its Philippine division due to downsizing, Lui-Pio says, but all the EMI contract artists were now part of a new label, Polyeast.

“They are marketing the third album. Hindi na-push masyado. Walang guarantee talaga,” Lui-Pio says.

Hale, he stresses, is marketing and promoting “Above, Over and Beyond” on their own.

“We’re trying to help ourselves kasi we’re not relying on the label now to push the album kasi they are concerned with their own problems. Hopefully by (this year), we’re going to make a strong push for the album,” he says.

He notes that they are looking at new avenues in selling and recording music, particularly on the Internet platform which is currently exploding.

“There are a lot of avenues to share your music. Hindi naman kailangan you’re under a label. You don’t need big recording companies anymore. You can innovate. You can actually find a lot of ways to access listeners, like online. You can upload and share music.”

“Above” is the third of a five-album deal with EMI.

Despite the setbacks and challenges, Hale remains as a solid unit that still sticks to the basics.

“I will keep on writing songs. Ako naman kasi it doesn’t matter if we’re signed or not eh. I’m still gonna write music. The four of us will still write music.” (courtesy of inquirer.net)

Pussy Cat Dolls also know from their abbreviation of PCD, are an American pop girl group and dance ensemble founded by choreographer Robin Antin. The group originated in 1995 as a burlesque troupe based in Los Angeles, California. After attracting national attention, Antin eventually negotiated a record deal with Interscope Records in 2003, and the troupe was re-cast as a music group, comprising lead singer Nicole Scherzinger alongside Melody Thornton, Jessica Sutta, Ashley Roberts, Kimberly Wyatt and Carmit Bachar, who left the group in early 2008.. Subsequently the group also diversified into reality television programs; a Las Vegas act, venue, and casino; merchandising; and other ventures overseen by Antin, Interscope, and their partners.

so much for that, PCD dominates both dancing and music industry, the pop girl group popularize the hits songs "Don't Cha", "Buttons", and "Stickwitu",the last of which earned the group a Grammy Award nomination. In 2006, the Pussycat Dolls performed live shows in North America supporting the Black Eyed Peas. As headliners they toured the UK, Europe, Philippines and Malaysia.The group has also performed in Singapore for the annual Singfest.

On the date August 8, 2006, after a Dolls concert in Kuala Lumpur, their concert promoter, Absolute Entertainment, was charged with flouting Malaysian decency laws. The Malay Mail quoted Culture Arts and Heritage Minister Datuk Mohamad Arif Abdul Rahman as saying: "I believe the way the Pussycat Dolls behaved onstage amounted to gross indecency". The charge was settled by paying a fine of RM5000 (US$1358).
